Dear Soul Family,

Take a deep breath of sweeeeet relief. The energies of May 2024 are something to get excited about. With a number of planets transiting through Taurus, Mars now in Aries, a fertile New Moon & Jupiter’s ingress into Gemini, May will be a delicious time of integration, felt progress & grounded growth. We can deepen into sensual pleasures, feel more decisive in our actions & revel in the newness of life around us.

Aries season was full of chaotic surprises. Not only did we venture through an eruptive eclipse season, we survived the strong push-pull influence of Mercury Retrograde, while a few planets were in a cardinal sign. Cardinal signs love to push forward, while retrogrades have us circling back. We also experienced the rare conjunction of Jupiter & Uranus on April 20th, which was like a shock to our system, truly propelling us into new territory.

May is bound to be a month of relief, as parts of ourselves catch up to the massive growth spurt that took place in April. Steady advancements feel easeful now, as we are in sync with celestial influences. Venus & Mars just entered their home signs of Taurus & Aries respectively. This is a happy transit for both planets. Expect visible progress toward your goals & ample time to regenerate through simple pleasures. It’s a month to reap Venusian blessings of love, money & appreciating the beauty of life itself. Let your soul flower bloom.

On May 2nd, Pluto in Aquarius will begin its retrograde cycle, journeying slowly back into the late degrees of Capricorn. This transit will assist us in reforming our relationship to our own power; how we yield it, abuse it, or struggle to embody it. Becoming more assertive and using our discernment to rid harmful influences or people from our lives could be themes we explore.

We have a spectacular New Moon in Taurus on May 7th, supported by Venus, Saturn, Jupiter & Uranus, representing a powerful portal for intentional manifestation. This is a fertile and emotionally enriching time after moving through the wild landscape of eclipse season.

On May 20, the Sun will ingress into the mutable air sign of Gemini, followed by good luck Jupiter on May 25th. Jupiter entering Gemini is highly significant as it kicks off another yearly cycle. We also have the Full Moon in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius on May 23rd, showering us in more benevolent energy.

Jupiter in Gemini for the next year will bring our attention to developing and expanding our minds. This transit will inspire our childlike curiosity, our need for variety + debate & the desire to socializing. Interests may emerge that we’ve never previously explored. On May 23rd, the Full Moon in Sagittarius sextile Pluto asks us to check in with our guiding philosophies and ask ourselves “what gives my life the most meaning and magic?”
